Delaney had the honor of returning to Yuletide with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in the fall and winter of 2024. This year, the show was hosted by none other than the iconic Sandi Patty! Again, the show was conducted by Maestro Jack Everly, directed and choreographed by Jen Ladner, and music directed by Greg Sanders. Getting to perform in this beautiful production again was such a joy. 

In the late summer of 2024, Delaney had the opportunity to step into her Shakespeare training as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream under the direction of Donald Hicken. Returning to the Classic Theatre of Maryland was an honor and it was a fun challenge to look at text so critically. This show was a beautiful and unique opportunity!

It is a rare gift to step into a dream role, and this one was a true highlight for Delaney. Playing Polly Baker in Crazy for You was an exciting mix of Gershwin tunes and fabulous dancing in the early summer of 2024. This production was under the direction of Sally Boyett. The Classic Theatre of Maryland in Annapolis is such a gem!

In the spring of 2024, Delaney had the exciting experience of returning to Suncoast Broadway to work on Cats. This production was under the direction of the legendary Chaz Wolcott with music direction by Jared Lee and assistance from Abigail Gatlin. She has always adored this musical and was thrilled to perform as Jellylorum and Sillabub (U/S Jennyanydots). This show was an absolute blast from beginning to end!

Delaney spent the Christmas season of 2023 in her home state of Indiana. She had the privilege of performing with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in their annual Yuletide Celebration. After attending the show for nearly 20 years in a row, Delaney felt like her dreams were coming true to be up on the stage this year. What could be better than jumping on a giant teddy bear every night?! This was such a joyful way to end a fantastic year of performing!

For the summer of 2023, Delaney tapped her "dancing feet" in Riverside Center for the Performing Arts' production of 42nd Street. This was her second time performing in this musical as the role of Lorraine Flemming and Peggy Sawyer U/S. This show was honored with a "Best Company" Award from Broadway World! Tapping and singing with this incredible group of performers was a joy!

Delaney spent the spring of 2023 in Hudson, FL with the Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre. She performed as Wanda/Ensemble in Escape to Margaritaville directed and choreographed by Joshua Buscher (Broadway: Big Fish, Kinky Boots, Pricilla Queen of the Desert, West Side Story). She is thankful for the experience in such a fabulous production!

In November + December of 2022, Delaney was part of an incredible new work written by Douglas Waterbury-Tieman. The creative team included Scott Wasserman, Jennifer Jancuska, and Bryce McDonald. Delaney was a choreographer, the dance captain, Abigail U/S, + Ensemble.

From May-December of 2022, Delaney had the pleasure of joining the Resident Company of the Cumberland County Playhouse in TN (Bryce McDonald, Britt Hancock). She was part of Cinderella, Escape to Margaritaville, BUDDY: The Buddy Holly Story, and Johnny and the Devil's Box (world premiere). She loved her time at CCP!

In May of 2022, Delaney graduated from Belmont University with her BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Social Justice. Her experience at Belmont was capped off with opportunities such as a class trip to NYC, a self-created Senior Show, and an honor ceremony regarding her 4.0 GPA.

In the early winter of 2022, Delaney had the opportunity to be part of a World Premiere of the new folk-opera, Favorite Son. The music was composed by award winning artist Marcus Hummon and the show has been nominated for an Emmy Award.

A capstone project of the Belmont University Musical Theatre program is the execution of a Senior Show. Students are prompted to choose their music, write their script, select their cast and band members, and choreograph their numbers. It is a rewarding challenge! Watch Delaney's show here.
